| Before the arrival of Chinese New Year next week, I think I'd better blog about my Xmas and New Year celebration in 2009. Xmas buffet dinner @ Cinnamon cafe, First World Hotel (Behind One Utama, PJ).
Jody with Santa Clause who came from Indian
So did I~
There serve variety of food~
The food that I makaned
I love the chocolate fondue, I actually love the way it looks like more than the food itself.
Jody & I
Jody & I didn't really enjoy the food there because they were more approached Indian style of food. As you could see, not much choices on my favourite Sashimi. We both agreed our previous year Xmas buffet dinner at Renaissance Hotel was much better. How much per pax? It is approximate RM100/pax during Xmas eve & day. Jody also bought me a bouquet during Xmas, it was a surprise!
Thanks bebe! New Year Countdown The Grid @ Tmn Desa (Old Klang Road).
With friends~
Then when it came to countdown, all the balloons dropped and the whole pub went crazy!
The "pool table" after the countdown!!
Me after countdown
and the zombie after countdown!!!!!!!
It was a fun night and Happy New Year everyone! Party @ Quotro, KL Me & Sherina
Me & Alfred
Me & Kelvin
Crazy friends~
Happy days! | | |
| Been to a Chinese forum and read a thread... It was saying a farmer went to a mall to buy something...
The waitress chased him away... He just smiled...
So did the security guard!! What could the old man do during this embarasement moment? SMILE!!
He just smiled all the way to the exit...
What has he done? He just wanted to buy a hair clip(as shown on first photo) for his grand daugther. He does not deserve to be treated in that way because of his job and background. Imagine if your old grandpa or father wanted to buy you a gift and being treated in that way?........ (FYI, it happened in China, but this phenomena happens every where in the world; if you are rich and have status, you deserve every good thing; otherwise, you will be a phuking lapdog!!) My tears dropped after reading this thread......
| Yea, its party time! Went to Quotro last few weeks with Jody, Hume, Kelvin, Steve & friends. It was a crazy & happy night! Jody & I
From left, Hume me, & Kelvin

The crazy people!~~
Enjoy the night, but I think because of aging problem, I will always have headache the next morning, even though I don't drink that much nowadays! Sigh..

| Munakata Japanese Restaurant @ KL (Nearby Beach Club)
I believe not many people aware of this Japanese restaurant does serve buffet ( They have separate menu for buffet & ala carte)
To be more exact, they have an ALL YOU CAN EAT menu, and they will serve you upon your order. I prefer this way as it ensures foods are hot and fresh. However, the buffet menu choices are limited, which I think they should improve on this. Food we order & re-order (Sashimi is the must!)
I love sashimi, but they only serve Salmon sashimi on the buffet menu, which is quite disappointing. Nevertheless, the cooked foods are fresh and nice, especially the grilled steak, very tender. Bebe & I
Bebe & his friends, Cookie (left) & Wei (right)
Overall, the food quality is good, just that the choices are limited. I think for the amount we paid, RM70+ per pax excluded beverages, which comes to approximate RM100/pax, I will prefer to go somewhere else that serves food & drinks with more choices. Contact info of this restaurant: Address: No. 20, Life Centre, Jln Sultan Ismail, 50250 Kuala Lumpur, Tel No : 03-2166 7441 Cheers & Happy New Year~
